Inspired by Khosravi’s Art in Focus exhibition at Rockefeller Center, participants were invited to work with tile patterns, an element that is featured prominently in Khosravi’s own work.

DERRICK ADAMS: FUNTIME UNICORNS
An unexpected take on the iconic and mythical unicorn, Funtime Unicorns is a series of interactive sculptures for social engagement and play. Set in the urban landscape, it invokes the idea of Blackness as magical, colorful, mystical, free-spirited, and deserving of protection.

ARGHAVAN KHOSRAVI AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER
Arghavan Khosravi is a US-based Iranian artist known for her sculptural multi-paneled paintings. Symbolism, metaphor, and abstraction are essential aspects of this exhibition.

SEVEN MAGIC MOUNTAINS MAINTENANCE UPDATE (7/26/22)
Seven Magic Mountains will undergo routine maintenance starting on Monday, August 1. During this time, the artwork will be visible, but access will be impacted.

EMILY MULLIN ART SUNDAE
Inspired by Mullin’s current Art in Focus exhibition at Rockefeller Center, participants were invited to create their own sculptural vessels using clay. Provided with air-dry clay the children were given the opportunity to experiment with sculpting by hand and creating unique objects of beauty.

Internationally recognized for her installations that bring together ceramics, photography, abstraction, vibrant color, and live floral elements, Mullin references the tradition of still life painting while exploring the relationship between flat image, object, and real space.

Art Production Fund will continue their Art in Focus partnership with a site-specific public art presentation by acclaimed multidisciplinary artist HUGO MCCLOUD. Presented in multiple public locations throughout the Rockefeller Center campus.

APF GALA 2022 HONORING SANFORD BIGGERS
Art Production Fund celebrated its 11th Annual Gala on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in partnership with Saks, and raised over $700,000 in support of the organization’s mission to produce ambitious public art projects.

MAX COLBY: ART SUNDAE
Inspired by Colby’s current Art in Focus exhibition at Rockefeller Center, participants were invited to create their own sculptural icons. Provided with an abundance of repurposed materials including fabrics, flowers, toys, and trims, among others, children were given the opportunity to reimagine their relationship with decorative and everyday materials.

LUCY SPARROW "TAMPA FRESH FOODS"
On January 20, 2022, British artist Lucy Sparrow unveiled her most ambitious project to date, an immersive art installation and fully functioning supermarket, Lucy Sparrow’s Tampa Fresh Foods within Water Street Tampa.

MAX COLBY AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER
Max Colby’s installation at Rockefeller Center will showcase a wide range of her practice, from sculpture and installation to painting and relief. Through lush, highly embellished, and material rich work, she reframes traditional notions of domesticity, power, and gender from a trans and non-binary perspective.

LISA CONGDON AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER
Congdon’s eye-catching illustrations show her exuberant, quirky interpretation of the holiday season at Rockefeller Center. Viewers will see depictions of the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, the Today Show, as well as several of this year’s newcomers to the Plaza, including Ignacio Mattos’ restaurant Lodi and the New York-based fashion brand Kule.
