“Someone I Love” An Art Sundae Installtion By Hiba Schahbaz
On February 3 Hiba Schahbaz led children through a digital Art Sundae workshop where participants created watercolor portraits of someone they love. Following the workshop, children submitted their portraits to be incorporated into a public installation with Schahbaz’s own work. “Someone I Love” is on view now at 10 Rockefeller Plaza through May 1st.
As part of the 2021 Art in Focus program, the installation is a collaboration between the artist and children from around the world. Someone I Love is presented by Rockefeller Center in partnership with the non-profit Art Production Fund.
